To reduce the child mortality rate by boosting immunity through deworming which causes malnourishment and diminished immunity.

• By engaging government and healthcare NGOs at grass root level, MediBank will start a pilot project which will be up sealed with the help of local administration and MediBank partners, as most of the children in government primary schools are malnourished, aggravated by worm infestation and are anemic.
• The EDO (Education) will identify the cluster of schools followings in the poorest area. For this, the BISP Data Base shall be consulted through their office. These clusters would be determined in all Tehsils through the respective EDO Office.
• The District Committee comprising of EDO (Health), Medical Superintendent, DHQ Hospital and Children Specialist would be engaged to decide the safety of the deworming drugs and supplementation.
• They may train the medicine team for screening and dosing the children / students. A close coordination of Education and Health Committees would ensure through respective Assistant Commissioner.
• Prior to the campaign, NOC would also be sought from the parents by supplying with the pamphlet containing information.Doctors will assess the risk population (identified through BISP data) and EDO education by visiting them at schools and will :Give Anthelmintic, Give Irons/Vitamins/Supplements, Identify the eye disorders, Check the ear infections, Check the skin infection etc.
• Well-equipped van with doctor would visit the school on rotation basis.
• The record of such would be generated and its copy will be given to the school and medication for worms and deficiencies be given.
• The reports generated would be sent to the parents for taking the child to MediBank center in case of infection etc.
